Legal Passport LLC does not issue US passports. The U.S. Department of State’s Passport Agency is the sole authority responsible for issuing U.S. passports to U.S. citizens. The Passport Agency may request additional documentation to process your application. While we do not control these requests, we will promptly inform you if your application is rejected and will guide you on any additional information you may need to provide. Please note that all service fees, including those paid to Legal Passport Services and the U.S. Department of State, are non-refundable.

The U.S. Passport Agency may deny a passport application for any of the following reasons:

• Criminal conviction
• Outstanding child support
• Incomplete criminal probation
• Unpaid U.S. government debts (e.g., emergency repatriation loans)
• Failure to meet passport application requirements
• Suspense Cases: Occasionally, your application may be placed in "suspense" by the U.S. Passport Agency while they review your documents. Common reasons for this include:
• Missing identification or supporting documents
• Discrepancies in birth records
• Name-related issues
• Concerns of fraud
• Multiple lost passports

If your application is in suspense, you must act promptly to resolve the issue. The U.S. Department of State will keep the suspense case open for up to 90 days. If the issue is not resolved within this period, the application will be considered abandoned, and application fees will not be refunded. Once an application is in suspense, the issue must be addressed before any future applications can be processed. We recommend notifying Legal Passport Services of any potential concerns before submitting your application so we can assist in resolving them early on.

Non-refundable Service Fees:

• All service fees, including those paid to Legal Passport Services and the U.S. Department of State, are non-refundable. We advise purchasing travel insurance to cover potential delays, cancellations, or lost travel arrangements.
